Your professional locksmith training takes place at our specialised training facility based at our Head Office. During the training you will complete three weeks of both practical and theoretical training covering the many fascinating aspects of the trade. Our trainers work with you to ensure that you are happy and confident with everything you have learnt after each stage.
During the three week training you'll be taught and trained in all aspects of locksmithing, from the basics, such as cutting keys and fitting locks, to more involved techniques such as ‘impressioning’ and making keys by hand.
Other skills include: PVC and Aluminium Doors & Locks, Lock Identification, Changing Combinations, cutting keys to code, and Impressioning.
As well as being trained in all aspects of locksmithing you will also be trained in marketing your locksmith business, as well as our admin and job allocation systems to help you generate new customers.
When your training is complete and you feel confident with your acquired skills, you'll find yourself with a new variety of professional techniques which will give you a brilliant and confident head start in your new career as a locksmith.
